Hombre-jaguar es un trabajo en curso que consiste en trajes de seguridad industrial intervenidos con las manchas de la piel del jaguar. El color de la pintura recuerda a las pinturas rupestres recientemente descubiertas en la Amazonía colombiana, donde la mayoría de las figuras corresponden a jaguares. Entregamos los trajes intervenidos a trabajadores de diferentes industrias químicas y de pintura para que los utilicen en sus labores. Luego los coleccionamos y nos interesa presentar los trajes con otra capa de manchas, los trajes se convierten en un palimpsesto de culturas y épocas donde los ancestrales (los hombres jaguares) que aún persisten en muchas culturas de la Amazonía y Mesoamérica, se mueven y conviven en el contexto urbano, resignificando y actualizando el culto al jaguar en nuestro contexto actual.

Hombre-jaguar is a work in progress that consists of industrial safety suits intervened with the spots of the skin of the jaguar. The painting color is reminiscent of the cave paintings recently discovered in the Colombian Amazon, where most figures correspond to jaguars. We are handing over the intervened suits to workers of different chemical and paint industries so that they can use them during their labors. Later we collect them and we are interested in presenting the suits with another layer of stains, the suits then become a palimpsest of cultures and times where the ancestral (the jaguar men) that still persist in many cultures of the Amazon and Mesoamerica, move and coexist in the urban context, resignifying and updating the cult of the jaguar in our current context.
