Lámina de bronce y enchapada en oro, grabada con la carta celeste (configuración del cielo) correspondiente a la fecha de la famosa caída meteórica en Santa Rosa de Viterbo en Boyacá, Colombia en el año de 1810.

Espejo en el cual queda fijado el rostro del cielo, a su alredeor se encuentra inscrita una frase órfica:

Traduccion de la frase: ‘‘I am the son of earth and starry heaven, but of heaven is my birth: this you know yourselves’’.

This gold-plated bronze sheet is engraved with the sky chart that corresponds to the famous falling of the meteorite in Santa Rosa de Viterbo in Boyacá, Colombia, in 1810.

 

Through this gesture, an image of the sky is fixed. The sheet also contains the following orphic sentence: ‘‘I am the son of Earth and starry heaven, but of heaven is my birth: this you know yourselves’’.
